Overcoming reading problems
It is natural that students with reading problems face various performance issues at their schools. Studies show that students who are having reading problems behave poorly in school, get low grades, lose homework frequently, do poorly on tests, or are reluctant to go to school. Sometimes they are withdrawn and sometimes they act out. Struggling readers may be mistakenly labelled as lazy, slow or even disabled. Nearly everyone, however, can improve reading skills. It’s a matter of finding the appropriate teaching techniques, and presenting them in the right way.

Enriching students with classic titles
At A+ English, students of any age and different English capabilities can enjoy some of the greatest literary classics of all time. Even students who struggle with reading will be able to read and enjoy classic tales in the Scholastic’s Junior Classic series.
